About Us
One day has arrived!! After years of doing what life demanded and raising three children our dream of one day owning a morgan farm is here. We purchased a small piece of heaven and started to build our dream. Selling our house in Whitecourt we are now building a new life in the country with a lot of help from our friends (old and new). We have to thank John and Janine Welsh of Homestead Morgans for allowing us to become part of their extended family and purchase HMSTD Whisky Girl. We also need to send a great thanks out to Ray and Lisa Mappin of Coyote Flats Ranch for allowing us to purchase CFR Shameless Sensation aka Izzy which gave us our start. We have also added to our mare herd with mares from Oakley Morgan Farms, Cedar Lane Morgans and Sable Morgans bringing our total to six mares . We hope to raise morgans that will excel in all aspects of the morgan world.
Terry is assistant manager in the bakery at the local IGA and Jerry works for a local oilfield safety company. This gives Jerry a lot of time in the spring and summer to work with and train these horses and be involved with the morgan world. We have three children Chris who is married with two children and living in Edmonton, Jeff who resides in Whitecourt with his five children and Nicole who also lives in Whitecourt. The kids and grandchildren all love horses and are very supportive in our adventure so we have a lot of help close by. This truly makes One Day Morgans a family dream come true!!
